Restorative Community Training

What is a Restorative Community?

A Restorative Community is the practice of acknowledging the gifts each community member brings to the table while also understanding an individual's challenges

during collaboration within meetings, specific projects, or just a simple conversation with a community member. The first step in acknowledging gifts is learning how to facilitate meaningful, respectful conversations that address hard issues.

This training also provides the opportunity to:

  • Develop your facilitation skills.

  • Learn how to hold conversations that foster trust, commitment, and a sense of belonging.

  • Learn how to be more effective in tackling problems with greater impact.

These trainings also give people the opportunity to connect with one another and gain a sense of empowerment while seeing yourself and your community in "a new light!"

The training is free of charge including drinks and a healthy meal. Our priority is to make this experience available to everyone who is interested. If you find the training valuable please make a donation so the Collaborative can offer additional trainings.

The Wellness Collaborative’s mission is to engage all community members in working together to transform personal, environmental, and economic health by building strong relationships among people and organizations. The group is grounded in the belief that as individuals and organizations, we are most effective when working together towards a common goal rather than separately trying to reach the same goal.
