Social Connections Calendar
Social connection is a critical component of good health and resilience building. Social connection improves physical health, mental and emotional well-being while decreasing anxiety and stress. COVID-19 has provided unique challenges to staying connected with friends, community and loved ones. Knowing this, OCWC has put together a Social Connection Calendar chock-full of events to help stay socially connected while physically distanced. Also, check out our Social Connection Resource page.
To use the calendar to best effect, try typing in key search words such as the activity, organization, or population you are looking to connect with (ie: recovery, seniors, LGBTQ+, parents, arts, exercise, yoga, grief support ect). You can also change the calendar view on the right to see events offered on a single day in more detail.
